 Q: Can not find license file.
|
The license file
should be saved into Molworks directory as "license.txt".
In windows case, it should be C\Program Files\MolWorks 3.0\license.txt.

Q: License file does not work. Invalid MAC address.
|
The license file
contains encrypted MAC address of your network interface.
MolWorks checks it at the initialization. If you remove your network
card , MolWorks can not find the interface and can not be invoked.
Please get new license with your new network intarface.
Proedure to get new license.
1) Remove current license.txt file.
2) Run Molworks
3) MolWorks displays your new MAC address and URL to register, please
click the URL.
4) Re-register user information
5) New license should be E-mailed to you.
6) Install new license.

Q: How to install VM ?
|
Sometimes, you may
be required to isntall VM prior to install MolWorks.
Java VM is included in JRE (Java Runtime Environment) package.
Please go to http://www.java.com,
get the software and install it.
HOW TO Install VM on Linux.
1) Access to http://www.java.com
2) Download JRE software.
3) Install JRE software.
4) Add JRE's bin directory into your PATH.
5) Install Molworks

Q: How to run Gaussian and MOPAC at local machine ?

If you want to
submit to Gaussian or MOPAC at your local machine,
you must follow these steps. You need to set up just once.
1) Click "Application" pull down menu on main window.
2) Select "MO Calc. Setup".
3) "MO Setup" windows will appear
4) Please confirm the path.
If these information is not correct, please
set your exact path to the application..
5) Click "OK"

Q: "OpenCubegen error!": How to resolve.

These functions
requires write permission of MolWorks30 directory.
Please add write permission to installed directory.
Please follow these steps if you use Windows.
1) Open file browser (Explorer)
2) Go to "C\Program Files"
1) Click the right button at MolWorks30 folder, and select "properties".
2) Select "Security" tab
3) Click "Advanced"
4) Click "Change Permission"
5) Select "Allow Users(****/Users) Read & execute ..."

6) Click "Edit"
7) Check Allow check button of "Create files / write data"
8) Click "OK"

purchase.
